Today Iโ€™m recalling the historic news heard around the world in 1914. The Panama Canal first opened for traffic and the cargo ship, the SS Anconโ€™s 9-mile journey was the first through the 50 -mile canal. Do you recall my discovery in THE GANGSTER of the tycoon in 1906 who illegally profited from the Panama Canal Treaty?
